El Shaddai School Girls Hockey tour to George March 2012

El Shaddai Christian School girls hockey 1st team was sponsored by Pools for Africa for their first ever hockey tour to York High School, George March 2012.

They did really well as unknowns to this tour.  They won two matches, drew two matches and lost one.  Not only did the coach of the top team come over and ask, "Who are you people?" they were told that they most definitely are being invited back next year!  What a great feat and we at Pools for Africa are proud to be associated with such lovely well behaved and well mannered young ladies.  They did their school proud, and as a team they were amazing!

Warming up in chilly George!

To the coach, Tracey Glasby, and manager Carlenda Murrell, and ref, Tess Rodrigues:  You guys did amazing work with your team.  You should be proud and we at Pools for Africa hope to continue our association with you and your team.

Great Pic after a successful tour!

Once again, Pools for Africa are proud to be associated with this awesome team!

Thank you

Ironman 4 the Kidz

In January of this year Pools for Africa was proud to be a sponsor for the Ironman 4 the Kidz  Organization.

This organization raises money for the children of the Eastern Cape who are less fortunate.  Read more HERE to find out more about them and how you too can participate in making our world a better place for the children to live and grow in.

Pools for Africa sponsored Jonathan Teppler as he participated in this event in East London on the 22/01/2012.   It was grueling at times but he did very well and improved on his times.  He did us proud wearing his Pools for Africa vest and we feel blessed to have been able to be part of this event in some small way.

Well done Jonathan!
