El Shaddai School Girls Hockey tour to George March 2012

El Shaddai Christian School girls hockey 1st team was sponsored by Pools for Africa for their first ever hockey tour to York High School, George March 2012.

They did really well as unknowns to this tour.  They won two matches, drew two matches and lost one.  Not only did the coach of the top team come over and ask, "Who are you people?" they were told that they most definitely are being invited back next year!  What a great feat and we at Pools for Africa are proud to be associated with such lovely well behaved and well mannered young ladies.  They did their school proud, and as a team they were amazing!

Warming up in chilly George!

To the coach, Tracey Glasby, and manager Carlenda Murrell, and ref, Tess Rodrigues:  You guys did amazing work with your team.  You should be proud and we at Pools for Africa hope to continue our association with you and your team.

Great Pic after a successful tour!

Once again, Pools for Africa are proud to be associated with this awesome team!

Thank you

Ironman 4 the Kidz

In January of this year Pools for Africa was proud to be a sponsor for the Ironman 4 the Kidz  Organization.

This organization raises money for the children of the Eastern Cape who are less fortunate.  Read more HERE to find out more about them and how you too can participate in making our world a better place for the children to live and grow in.

Pools for Africa sponsored Jonathan Teppler as he participated in this event in East London on the 22/01/2012.   It was grueling at times but he did very well and improved on his times.  He did us proud wearing his Pools for Africa vest and we feel blessed to have been able to be part of this event in some small way.

Well done Jonathan!

The lengths we go to!

The lengths we go to at Pools for Africa to get your pool delivered can be quite interesting as these pictures will show.

Over your house:

UP...

ACROSS...

OVER...

AND PHEW....LANDED!

And what about over your neighbour's house:
Nail biting!

LIVE FAR AWAY?
No problem!

Walls, pergolas, tight squeeze?
No problem!
You can see that we go the extra mile to deliver your pool safely, sometimes with much nail-biting on your part and with much muscle strain on our side - but one way or another, your pool will be safely landed!

Should you want to find out if we can get a POOLS FOR AFRICA fibreglass swimming pool into your back garden, feel free to give us a call.

Pools for Africa - A brief Description

At Pools for Africa we manufacture, supply, install and export fibreglass swimming pools to the Trade, and to the public.  Pools for Africa is owner managed by Derek Teppler who has been working with fibreglass since 1984 and in the pool industry since 1992.  He has installed over 4000 swimming pools himself and has been manufacturing shells since 1992.

Pools for Africa has a very good reputation in the Industry for quality and service and has brought many new techniques into the industry over the years.  We are the only Company that uses a High Performance Iso NPG Epoxy Gelcoat with a Vinyl Ester element.  It was specially developed for us.  This product is a far superior gelcoat to the normal one used and has a far harder surface, and thus one can heat our fibreglass swimming pools to a higher temperature degree than normal. This gelcoat is also not prone to osmosis.

Why Fibreglass?
Fibreglass swimming pools are easy and quick to install.  Our pools have a high tensile strength.  Fibreglass pools are warmer and use less chemicals than gunite or cement block pools.  At Pools for Africa we have the most Shapes available in Africa, and manufactured by ourselves, under one roof.

Pools for Africa is part of the Cape Town Pool Builders Network which seeks to only align itself with Pool Companies that have good quality pools and Pool Builders who will back up their guarantees, have a good work ethic, and strive to keep their clients happy.
